Bradley County Schools comply with new court ruling on electronic communications by using the freedom9 freeGuard Capture 2000

Overview

Challenge
The Bradley County Schools technology department supports approximately 3,000 PCs on 17 LANs that are tied together with T1 lines. Fifteen of the sites are Novell based and the remaining ones are Windows based. Because of the mixed environment, they do not use Active Directory. The organization uses IPSwitch’s Imail Server for email and supports approximately 1,200 accounts on this system. Once the ruling came into effect, the school realized the importance of finding an affordable solution to keep records of all electronic communications to ensure compliance and avoid potential fines and issues.
